Brittany has always enjoyed singing. As she was growing up, she would beg her parents to buy her microphones so that she could put on her own concerts in the living room. Brittany also frequently begged her mom to let her buy music that was too mature for her because at an early age she had an ear for good music. Growing up in the 90’s, she fell in love with superstars like Toni Braxton, Lauryn Hill and TLC to name a few.

Her parents say her talent was confined to living room performances for many years because she was so shy. In 2009, she came out of her shell and stared in the Warwick Academy production of the musical, “Little Shop of Horrors” which left her parents speechless! She then entered the Singing for Success competition in 2009 which confirmed her talent as a singer.

Brittany, who now goes by the name ‘Brixx’ sings part-time for enjoyment and has performed with the band DIA as well as a few charity events. Brixx loves music and you might remember her remix to Rihanna’s ‘work’ which she entitled ‘twerk’ which has garnered over 2,000 views. She enjoys entertaining and looks forward to continuing to grace others with her sultry sounding voice.
